Pak foreign reserves decreased



KARACHI: The total liquid foreign reserves held by the country stood at US$19,941.8 million on 11 August 2017. The break-up of the foreign reserves position is as under: Foreign reserves held by the State Bank of Pakistan: US$14,310.5 million; Net foreign reserves held by commercial banks: US$5,631.3 million; Total liquid foreign reserves: US$19,941.8 million, says a Press release.     
During the week ending 11August2017, SBP's reserves decreased by US$88 million to US$14,311 million, due to payments on account of external debt servicing and other official payments.
